WARPOINT is opening up its games to everyone who wants to launch a VR arena but is not ready for a franchise. The new format is called the WARPOINT Subscription: you open an arena under your own brand and get the games, technology, training and support for a monthly payment. No lump-sum fee, no royalties, and a launch in as little as 15 days.
The subscription in five numbers
- from $1,150 a month — the subscription payment;
- $0 and 0% — the lump-sum fee and royalties;
- from 40 m² — the space needed for an arena, up to 500 m²;
- from 15 days — from signing the contract to the first players;
- 15 days free — trial access to the games before you buy.
According to network data, a subscription arena earns from $4,000 a month with a profit margin of 40–60% and pays for itself in as little as six months. You can estimate the figures for your own city with the subscription calculator.
How the arena works
This is free-roam VR: players do not stand still with a controller but move freely around the space in lightweight standalone headsets — no cables and no heavy backpacks. The tracking system sees every participant, so from 2 to 10 people can play on one site at the same time: team against team, or together against the game.
The play area adapts to your premises. Columns, protrusions and irregular room shapes become part of the virtual map rather than an obstacle to launching.
Which games are included
One arena covers the whole audience — from children aged 6 to groups of adults and corporate events. The library contains seven games:
- WARPOINT ARENA 2.0 — the network’s signature game, a team tactical shooter and modern laser tag in virtual reality. Twenty maps and four modes, from team deathmatch to capture the flag. Ages 8+.
- Diamonds, Farm and UFO — casual games for children and families, 6+.
- Snowballs and Paints — fun shoot-outs with no violence, 6+.
- Kids Arena — a shooter adapted for children’s parties, 8+.
Game updates are included in the subscription: new maps and modes arrive at no extra cost. Read about each game in detail in the WARPOINT game catalogue.
What the subscription includes
- Game library — WARPOINT ARENA 2.0 and additional game worlds, more than 20 game modes.
- Adaptation to your premises — we configure the play space around the area, the geometry and the columns.
- Technical support — remote setup and help with any technical questions.
- Knowledge base — over 100 video lessons for the owner and the staff.
- Marketing materials — layouts, photos, videos and instructions for launching advertising.
- Launch playbooks — step-by-step recommendations for opening the arena and running it day to day.
If you do not have your own hardware, WARPOINT will put together a ready-made equipment kit: Quest 3S headsets, a tablet for managing sessions, a router, charging stations and accessories. A kit for 6 players costs $7,600, for 8 players $8,900 and for 10 players $10,000. Buying it is optional: compatible hardware you already own will work too.
STANDART and MAX plans
There are two plans. STANDART is the flagship WARPOINT ARENA 2.0 with three modes; MAX is the entire WARPOINT library, more than 20 modes and priority support. Updates, adaptation to your premises, marketing materials and access to the online academy come with both. The longer the term, the lower the payment:
| Subscription term | STANDART, per month | MAX, per month |
|---|---|---|
| 6 months | $1,666 | $2,250 |
| 12 months | $1,500 | $2,166 |
| 24 months | $1,250 | $1,666 |
| 60 months | $1,150 | $1,500 |
Before buying, you can take a 15-day free trial. All you need for it is two Meta Quest 2, 3 or 3S headsets, a tablet, a Wi-Fi router and a laptop.
Which premises are suitable
Subscription arenas open in shopping centres, in existing VR clubs and amusement parks, in city parks and holiday resorts, in hotels and in stand-alone buildings. The requirements for the space are simple:
- an area of 40 to 500 m², with ceilings from 2.5 m;
- a dedicated power supply from 3 kW and internet from 20 Mbps;
- a level floor and no direct sunlight.
For more on choosing a location, see our guide to the technical requirements for premises.
How the arena makes money
More than 40% of WARPOINT arenas’ revenue comes from repeat visits and recommendations. The main flow is game sessions for groups of friends and families. Birthdays and graduation parties raise the average bill and fill the weekends, while team-building events and corporate parties fill weekdays and evenings. Two more sources of income are esports tournaments, which grow a community of regular players, and merchandise with gift vouchers. The economics of an arena are broken down in detail in the article “How a VR arena makes money”.
Subscription or franchise
| Term | Subscription | Franchise |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | Your own | WARPOINT |
| Initial investment | from $10,000 | from $55,000 |
| Lump-sum fee | none | from $15,000 |
| Royalties | none | 7% from the fifth month |
| Area | 40–500 m² | 150–1000 m² |
| Launch time | from 15 days | from 2 months |
| Support | Knowledge base and technical support | The management company at every stage |
The subscription is an independent launch under your own brand with minimal investment. The WARPOINT franchise means a well-known brand, a venue design project, full-service promotion, a website with booking, a player app and support at every stage. The games are the same in both formats: on them, the network’s arenas earned more than $36M in 2025.
Who the subscription is for
Owners of VR clubs and amusement parks. WARPOINT games complement an existing venue and give guests a reason to come back. The brand stays yours, and getting connected takes about 15 days.
Entrepreneurs opening their first VR arena. You get ready-made game content, launch guides and support from the WARPOINT team, which has been developing VR entertainment since 2014.
