What happens in the arena

The arena is split in half by a transparent ice wall: you can see the rivals but cannot reach them at first. That is your head start. While the wall stands, you shape snow blocks and build a fort with your own hands around the snowman — the one the other team will try to smash. Then the wall collapses, and what it was all about begins. Smash the rivals' snowman before they can destroy yours.

Mechanics

How to play

  1. Shape

    Hold the button and a block grows in a special mould: a moment gives a small one, longer a big one, and longer still an ice block no snowball can break.

  2. Build

    Blocks obey real physics: leave one unsupported and it falls; knock out the bottom row and everything above collapses. Walls can only be taken apart from the top down.

  3. Throw

    A snowball is shaped in a special launcher with the same hold: a small one flies farther, a big one hits harder. A hit rival turns into a ghost, and it takes a while before they return to the fight.

  4. Win

    There is one target — the other team's snowman. It accumulates damage from hits. Whoever smashes it first wins the match.

Tactics

The key to victory is the fort

Everything on your half you built yourself: how to shield the snowman, whether to spend time on an indestructible ice block instead of three ordinary ones. A badly planned wall crumbles under fire fast; a good one carries you to victory.
