The second stage of the WARPOINT Big League is under way: the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Kursk cups were both played within a single week. Four teams have already booked their place in the Super Cup, where $24,000 will be up for grabs in Moscow on 1 November.
How the Four Cups work
The Four Cups are the play-offs of the national VR esports championship. Each of the league’s four cities hosts its own double-elimination cup: a team is knocked out only after its second defeat, so teams that lose in the upper bracket can fight their way back through the lower bracket. Matches are played in WARPOINT ARENA, 4v4.
Each cup has a prize pool of $1,800: $900 for first place, $540 for second and $360 for third. But the real prize lies elsewhere: the top two teams from each city go through to the Super Cup.
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Cup: the trophy goes to District03
On 13 September five teams met at the arena in the Panorama Alfa mall. In the grand final, District03 beat BOBR KURWA 2–0 with confidence. It is not District03’s first major trophy: in spring 2025 the team won the WARPOINT VR tournament in Moscow, which featured 16 teams.
BOBR KURWA, the regular-season leaders on Sakhalin, battled their way through the lower bracket and fell one step short of the cup. Along the way they beat Forest Spirits 2–0, who finished third.

Kursk Cup: victory for Bikini Bottom Residents
On 19 September the cup was hosted by the arena in the Evropa-50 shopping centre. Bikini Bottom Residents emerged as the strongest team, with Jonathan Livingston second and Spartans third. Granny’s Muffins were handed a technical defeat after failing to show up.

- 3rd place — Spartans.
Who has qualified for the Super Cup
After the first two cups, District03, BOBR KURWA, Bikini Bottom Residents and Jonathan Livingston have earned their places in the final. Four more places are still to be decided:
- 27 September — Rostov-on-Don Cup;
- 3 October — Tyumen Cup.
The Super Cup takes place on 1 November in Moscow. The prize pool is $24,000: $12,000 for first place, $7,200 for second and $4,800 for third. Every stage is streamed in the WARPOINT community on VK.
