The regular season of the WARPOINT Big League, the network’s first national VR esports championship, is over. Two months of matches in four cities have produced the leaders, and ahead of the teams lie the Four Cups play-offs and the grand final, the Super Cup in Moscow, with a prize pool of $24K.

What is the WARPOINT Big League?

The Big League is a single competitive season in WARPOINT ARENA, a Russian-developed team VR shooter. Players wear standalone VR headsets and move freely around the arena, and matches are played 4v4. The 2026 season has three stages:

  • Regular season — a round-robin tournament within each city, with an average of 20 matches per team. It kicked off on 11 July.
  • The Four Cups — double-elimination play-offs in every city. Each cup carries a prize pool of $1,800, and the top two teams win a place in the final.
  • The Super Cup — the final on 1 November in Moscow, where the season’s eight strongest teams will compete for $24,000.

Four cities are taking part in the league in 2026: Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Tyumen, Kursk and Rostov-on-Don.

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: 19 wins from 20 matches

The most commanding run of the season belonged to BOBR KURWA — 38 points and just one defeat in 20 games. Final standings:

  • 1st place — BOBR KURWA, 38 points;
  • 2nd place — Team Name, 25 points;
  • 3rd place — Prime Team, 23 points;
  • 4th place — Forest Spirits, 15 points;
  • 5th place — Retrogrades, 15 points;
  • 6th place — Annihilator Cannon, 2 points.

Forest Spirits had a tough season, but they played it out to the end and fought in every match — teams like this are the backbone of the city’s tournament community.

Tyumen: a title race to the final round

In Tyumen, first place went to Vanilla Bunny — 16 wins from 20 games with only one defeat. It is not the Bunnies’ first title: in 2025 they won the WARPOINT VR tournament in Yekaterinburg. It was no walk in the park, though: Sociopaths finished just 2 points behind, and first place was decided in the very last round. SIB and Sreda took third and fourth. A special mention goes to Global Team, who traveled from Yekaterinburg for their matches all season long.

Rostov-on-Don: Ares on top

  • 1st place — Ares, 37 points (17 wins from 20 matches);
  • 2nd place — Double Agents, 33 points;
  • 3rd place — Predators, 20 points;
  • 4th place — Hustlers, 6 points;
  • 5th place — Spirit, 4 points.

Double Agents fell just four points short of first place, while Predators pulled comfortably clear of the rest of the table.

Four Cups and Super Cup schedule

  • 13 September — Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Cup;
  • 19 September — Kursk Cup;
  • 27 September — Rostov-on-Don Cup;
  • 3 October — Tyumen Cup;
  • 1 November — Super Cup in Moscow.

Regular-season teams qualify for their city’s cup automatically. Matches are streamed in the WARPOINT community on VK.

Why tournaments matter to the network and its partners

A tournament is more than a show. Teams spend weeks training at the arenas, bring along friends and fans, and a loyal community of players grows up around the venue. For a partner, that means steady weekday bookings and guests who come back again and again. We described how the network built up its VR esports program when we launched the Four Cups series in 2025.
