The Wall map in WARPOINT ARENA has been updated

An update for the Wall map has been released in the VR shooter WARPOINT ARENA. Besides new textures, the geometry of the map has been reworked. Wall is now more spacious and tactically more interesting.

The main feature of the map — the massive concrete wall that splits the play area in two — now feels even more imposing thanks to the extra space. The maze of obstacles that used to lead to chaotic firefights has been removed. In its place there is a well-considered arrangement of cover and passages, which gives a clearer read of the battlefield and pushes WARPOINT ARENA further towards competitive play.

Thanks to these changes, the fights on Wall have become more tactical and more predictable. Players can now plan their moves more effectively, choose the best positions and pull off complex strategies.
In a world after a man-made disaster resources are running out, and the survivors are forced to fight one another. The huge concrete wall dividing the camp in two held the confrontation back, but the shortage of resources sharpened the situation, and last night the wall’s defences gave way. Now the two sides are preparing for a final battle for survival.
The two narrow passages in the wall are the only way into enemy territory. A raid on the opponent needs careful preparation: in the narrow corridors there is a high risk of meeting the enemy face to face.
As at all the updated locations, Wall now features the blue WARPOINT branded elements.

The updated Wall map is already available at every VR arena in the network.
