With the update the “Rooftop” map became more competitive. Superfluous obstacles were removed and all zones became more distinct, which adds logic to players' decisions and rules out chaotic gameplay

The Rooftop map in WARPOINT ARENA has been updated
The updated Rooftop map is now available at every VR arena in the WARPOINT network. The map design has been reworked, making the gameplay more dynamic, better balanced and tactically sharper.
One of the key changes is the removal of the side barriers: the map boundaries now match the edges of the roof exactly, which gives a sense of height and open space. Players who reach the edge can look down and take in the city spread out below them.
The geometry of the map has been reworked as well. The developers separated zones for different playstyles: the corridors are now better suited to close-quarters fighting, while the open areas work better for long-range weapons. The maze of obstacles that used to create chaotic firefights is gone — battles now play out more predictably and with more tactical sense.
Thanks to these changes Rooftop fits the esports format even better. The map has a clearer structure, which lets players build strategies, control key points and coordinate precisely as a team.
In addition, the updated version of Rooftop features the signature blue WARPOINT branded elements that can be seen on all the new maps.
The new version of the Rooftop map is already available at every VR arena in the network.
